This is my personal blog. The main focus of this blog is most likely be around sustainability, business, local living economies and creating authentic community. And I may deviate into fashion, horses or just spewing what I think at the moment. Enjoy!

I'm Back!

Inspiration. It’s time to put it out there. I’ve been hemming and hawing on blogging for a long time.. And frankly, as the Bear totem has shown me it’s time to come out and express what I’m feeling and what I’m thinking. The winter of going inside and thinking and contemplating what is going on in the world is over and it is time to share what I have seen.

I have seen integrity and I have seen hypocrisy. I have seen be love and I have seen hate. I have seen triumphs and I have seen failures. I have seen support and I have seen back-stabbing. I have seen beauty, bliss, comfort, babies, sunshine, horses, laughter, family, community and fire. And hopefully over time through this blog you will see what I have seen. I will attempt to post what is going on with me what am I musing about. What I see.

Why the sudden interest in blogging again? I am generally a person who is willing to put a lot of my thoughts and feelings out there, but haven’t felt compelled (those of you that know me are laughing right now) lately. But this summer my dear fabulous and fashionable friend, Nicole, is moving to San Francisco and I am going to miss her dearly. We have shared with each other our interest in fashion and sustainability and looking fabulous. We’ve decided that one way we might stay connected as she heads south is to share our thoughts about fashion and life through blogging. Because people need to know what we are thinking about fashion.. right? Riiiight.

So perhaps this blog might not be for everyone in cyberspace and it may be a bit self indulgent, but I hope you do enjoy it.

You're back and I'm right here with you. Fussy Poodle is in the house! Together I hope we can rock this sustainable style thing. Green doesn't have to be boring and Birkenstocks aren't the only way to sport sensible footwear. Although, I have to say Margot Fraser, the founder of Birkenstock, sported a great idea when she founded her company. Check out the original spa sandal in silver: http://www.birkenstockusa.com/styles/40411. Tres fab and super cozy. As every diva knows, sometimes fashion hurts baby and wouldn't it be nice if you could feel great after a day of blissfully cruising the open air farmers' market? Hemp tote bag in hand, our stylish sustainable sweetie can feel good knowing she chose well that morning when she donned her spa footwear and headed out to support her local food movement. Let's get going and prove that it’s totally about being fabulous and soooo not about being a fashion victim. OK...uh, as soon as I figure out how to incorporate a blog into www.fussypoodle.com I will be all over this blogging thing. I love you Sarah! And I miss you already. Kisses, Nicole
